SIMB3 2025E was deployed at station 3c on CONTRASTS (PS149), beyond the main transect on what appears to be a previously drained pond, second year ice. The floe had no snow but surface scattering layer apparent, deployed on level ice in the central part of 1 NM x 0.7 NM floe.
